Atlantic Health System and Hackettstown Medical Center Awards CAB Grant DASACC

Washington, New Jersey- August 1, 2022- The Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Warren County New Jersey (DASACC) has been awarded a $10,000 Community Advisory Board (CAB) grant from the Atlantic Health System (AHS) and Hackettstown Medical Center (HMC) for their dedication and continuous efforts to foster safer and healthier communities.

In the most recent Community Needs Assessment performed by the North Jersey Health Collaborative in partnership with HMC and AHS, a comprehensive list of priority health needs in Warren County was identified. Prioritizing and understanding the health needs of the Warren County community, DASACC was awarded the HMC CAB Grant because the organization has met one or more of the identified priority health needs. The organization will continue to address these needs and further expand its dedication to help, serve, and advocate for those impacted by interpersonal violence, to be proactive regarding its prevention, and to create positive change.

“We are honored to receive this award from Atlantic Health Systems and Hackettstown Medical Center. This funding will support our intake coordinator who provides full assessments, which includes evaluating for mental health and substance misuse needs. Thank you!” -Jill Zinckgraf—Executive Director, DASACC
