The coronavirus will not stop our commitment to our mission; to help, serve, and advocate for survivors of interpersonal violence, to be proactive regarding its prevention, and to create positive change.

With your help, DASACC can continue to provide the highest level of supportive services to the Warren & Hunterdon County communities. Those who depend on our services cannot wait for "normalcy" to arrive.  That's why DASACC is participating in #GivingTuesdayNow. It's a day when you can positively impact survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault and respond to the unprecedented needs caused by the coronavirus.

Every donation this #GivingTuesdayNow will make a difference and help to keep our Warren & Hunterdon County communities safe. Here's how you can help:

  1. If you have the means to, please consider donating to the campaign through our Giving Tuesday Now website page, Facebook fundraiser, or Instagram stories

  2. Start a Facebook Fundraiser! Here are the steps on how to create your own fundraiser:

    1. Login to Facebook and click here

    2. Fill in your fundraising goal and select a deadline (1-2 weeks is typically recommended)

    3. Choose a fundraiser title. For example, “Join me in supporting DASACC on Giving Tuesday Now”

    4. Share why you are supporting DASACC. Some ways you can explain this include: “Supporting safety for survivors is important to me because…” or “Ending domestic violence is an important issue for me because…”

  3. Fundraise via your own Instagram stories! Here are the steps on how to create your own Instagram story fundraiser:

    1. Login to your Instagram from your mobile device and select the blue plus button by “Your Story.”

    2. Select an image to post (Giving Tuesday Now images are available at the bottom of this document)

    3. Add a donation sticker to your post by selecting the sticker button. This will look like a smiling square shape toward the top of your screen

    4. Add the donation button and select @dasaccwc as the receiving nonprofit

    5. You then have the option to edit the donation sticker title to “Help Support DASACC” or “Support DASACC’s Giving Tuesday Now”. You can also add additional text your post before sharing

  4. Spread the word! Platforms such as Facebook use algorithms to display who sees what content. By simply liking, sharing, or commenting on posts, you are increasing the chances that others will see this post, including people who may have not been familiar with DASACC or its services. You can also spread the word through emails, text, or a phone/zoom call
