October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we are partnering up with Czig Meister Brewing to raise awareness!

 

Throughout the month of October, one dollar from each beer poured from Czig Meister Brewing's Giving Tap will be donated to DASACC. Czig Meister Brewing will be serving up a Raspberry Cream Ale as their Giving Tap. All money raised from the Giving Tap will go toward the animal kennels at our emergency shelter.

DASACC is the only emergency domestic violence shelter in Northern New Jersey that has on-site pet housing for families in imminent danger from domestic violence. At DASACC, we believe that pets are an important part of the family and that all members of the family deserve to be safe! There is an established connection between the cruelty to animals and violence toward humans - regularly referred to as "The Link." This link makes it critically important that cruelty toward animals be taken seriously. This is for the sake of the animals themselves, and for the people who are also at risk.
